Pokémon Go partners with MLB stadiums for special baseball-themed rewards

Pokémon Go is integrating itself into Major League Baseball stadiums for an official collaboration with the American sports organization, finally giving attendees something fun to do while all that other stuff is happening on the field. Starting opening day of the 2025 season and planned to continue for the next three years, MLB parks will be populated with home team-branded PokéStops and Gyms as well as a variety of Routes to follow throughout each location for rewards. Additional bonuses — in-game baseball caps for the home team, timed research missions during the game, and baseball ballpark backgrounds for Pikachu — will be made available at special theme nights.
